so nancy and i mark our third wedding anniversary on fat tuesday...i wonder if that's an indication we should go ahead and finish off the leftover valentine's day candy and anniversary cake today? its been a great marriage so far...i love ya hon!

jeremy lin is a self-proclaimed believer who listens to Christian rap (earning him bonus points from me)...tim tebow lets his faith take center stage in all he does...josh hamilton wears his addiction and his reliance on God to deal with it on his sleeve...in the sin-filled realm of sports, as with the increasing troubled world within which it exists, a remnant will remain! praise God for those bold enough to proudly identify themselves as a sinner in need of the one true God!

celebrated three years with my wife four days early with dinner at pei wei...had a nice day in fort worth and lookin forward to some anniversary cake later...mmm...

im not entirely sure how i feel about this and would be interested in hearing some opinions from my fellow Christian rappers and fans of the genre...i've done shows in secular venues and i believe we need to reach the lost instead of continually preaching to the choir, but when i see such an established Christian artist as lecrae appearing at the same event as so many other artists i used to be down with but whose lyrics now sound like nothing but vile blasphemy, i wonder how he proud he is to have his name on that marquee as 'just another performer.' im really not trying to judge him for this decision and i pray God reaches individuals in the crowd through his lyrics, but i sincerely hope this is not just the latest move by lecrae to move ever closer to the mainstream...

whether or not you think valentine's day is an elaborate ploy to sell cards, candy and flowers, we can all use the opportunity to remember the passion with which we first entered into our current love affair...and this most assuredly does not only refer to our spouse or significant other, as Sunday's message pointed out...the church at ephesus lost their first love and its very easy for us to do the same...so why not use this holiday as a reminder of why we love who we love and rekindle the desire we had for the Lord when we first realized how much He first loved us...

not doing what God tells us to will prevent His blessings just as much as doing something He tells us not to do...i admit my reluctance to obey His command to trust Him with our tithes, especially when we were frequently falling short of making ends meet as it was, but since making a renewed commitment and following through, ive realized our bank account somehow looks better than it has in a while...it defies logic, but as my pastor often says, it's much better to live on a blessed 90 than a cursed 100 :)

777 page likes...what a great number for a page whose central focus is the Lord :) although i continually try to network and reach more people, in a way i kinda wish the page would always display that number!

my mom said the worst thing about breakin your toe is that almost everyone's done it and they never give you much sympathy...well, my wife's been on her feet all day with one and i sympathize...plus, thats a pretty rough injury when your second job is as a zumba instructor! feel better soon, rosh :)

hope everybody enjoys the game today...no doubt someone from the winning team will thank God for today's win...whether they'll be as sincere as tebow is not for any of us to determine but we can all remember to thank God for the victories in our lives!
